I am often asked, will the silver darken in time with the oxidization stay, and how can I clean the intricate details… If these questions interest you read on…
Silver oxidization does not rub off but all silver blackens gradually – BUT it can be cleaned!!!
Here is how.

Silver can be cleaned with any silver cleaner that you can get in the store. But if you need to clean silver with an intricate design, or texture – I have some tips for you -

Take an old tooth paste and brush your silver clean, a tooth brush will clean the smallest nooks and crevasses. After a couple of minutes go by – wash your silver with water. Now to drying – this is important you must dry silver properly – here is a suggestion, lay out a towel, place your silver on it, now using a hairdryer slowly blow dry off your silver – till it is completely dry.

Here is a secret tip how to keep your silver from blackening apply a varnish coat to your silver – even clear nail varnish will do the job!!! Mind you the varnish will wear off in time – so you will need to apply it every now and again.
